In order to gain the best effect of CBD, we suggest a so-called decarboxylation of our CBD tea buds. De-ca-whaaat?
Decarboxylation describes the heating process of CBD buds. We recommend this procedure to gain an optimal pharmacological effect from the CBD. Cannabinoids are mainly part of the hemp plant in the form of so-called carboxylic acid. CBD is therefore often referred to as CBD-carboxylic acid (CBDA), which will be transformed into phenolic CBD. In this process, a carbon dioxide molecule is split off the acid, which leads to decarboxylation.
We suggest heating the CBD buds at 120-140 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes on a plate inside an oven.
After this we can prepare the leaves for a delicious and relaxing tea.
